LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported one motorcycle-related crash over the weekend.
On Saturday, June 20, police responded to M-62 near Beeson Street in La Grange Township.
Investigation of the incident revealed that Millersburg, IN resident Gary Lee Stuckman was driving north bound on M-64 when he drove too close to the edge of the roadway, hit a patch of gravel and lost control of his motorcycle.
Stuckman was then transported via Medflight to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for injuries sustained in the crash. Gary was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in this investigation.
This was only one of three collisions that police responded to over the weekend. Later that same day, deputies responded to a crash in Porter Township that injured a driver who said he was blinded by sunlight.
The following Sunday afternoon, another driver was injured in a rear-end vehicle crash in Milton Township.
