KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A gunman is in custody after robbing a homeowner on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
Public Safety officers were called to the 1600 block of Krom Street near East Prouty Street around 4 a.m. Thursday after a report of an armed subject inside of a residence.
When authorities arrived the victim explained that the man got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
An officer and his K-9 partner tracked down the suspect a short time later.
The 38-year-old Kalamazoo man was arrested for multiple felony charges.
No other details have been released at this time. The Criminal Investigation Division is launching an investigation.
