DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – General Motors Corporation CEO Mary Barra believes her company will be back to full production levels by the end of the month.
She spoke yesterday to the Automotive Press Association and said the coronavirus pandemic has hit the auto industry hard and approximately three-million vehicles will not be built and sold compared to 2019. The loss will be in the billions of dollars for the auto industry.
Barra also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to help the African American community by donating ten-million dollars to various causes that promote diversity.
