LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan voters can now ask for an absentee ballot on the internet.
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson unveiled the new online process Friday.
Voters can go to Michigan.gov/vote to apply. They will need their state driver’s license, social security number, and use the tool online to send their signature on the license.
Benson has already announced that applications for absentee ballots will be mailed out for the upcoming elections in August and November 2020.
