KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Some Kalamazoo residents were dealing with a power outage in the city’s Milwood Neighborhood Wednesday morning.
Consumers Energy’s outage map showed outages around Portage Street and I-94, north of the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport.
At the peak of the outage around 8 a.m. Wednesday over 2,000 customers were affected. A majority have already been restored.
The cause of the outage has not yet been determined. The handful of leftover outages are estimated to be restored around 12 p.m. Wednesday.
