COOPER TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation is underway after Kalamazoo Public Safety officers located a stolen vehicle in Cooper Township.
First responders were called to the area of Rollridge and Observation Avenues around 5:20 a.m. Sunday after multiple reports of shots fired. Witnesses believed the shots were between two vehicles on Rollridge.
When officers arrived they found an abandoned vehicle that had crashed in the 3500 block of Rollridge.
After further investigation, they found that this vehicle had been reported stolen by the Kalamazoo Township Police department in late April.
Authorities did not state if anyone was in custody at this time and no suspect description has been released.
