CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two people were taken into custody following reports of a reckless driver causing havoc in Springfield.
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to handle complaints about the driver around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, which took them to the area near Avenue A Mobile Home Park.
A 28-year-old man believed to be the driver was located by authorities in a close-by park. He was arrested for an outstanding warrant from a previous incident.
Police also arrested a 28-year-old woman who was a passenger in his vehicle and was reportedly found stealing from area residents.
She was taken into custody after attempting to flee the location in the suspect vehicle while deputies were investigating.
