PORTAGE, MI(WKZO AM/FM) – Motorists traveling in Portage should be aware of two new projects that begin on Monday.
The first is S Westnedge from Kilgore Road to Trade Centre Way, which will involve lane closures.
The project includes curb replacement, sidewalk ramp improvements, milling, asphalt resurfacing and restoration.
It is anticipated this project should be completed by July 31st.
The second involves E Centre Avenue between Portage Road and S Sprinkle Road, including Portage Road’s approach to E Centre.
The East Centre Avenue reconstruction project includes the extension of a left-turn pocket at Stryker’s driveway entrance, curb replacement, storm sewer improvements, pedestrian signal upgrades, sidewalk ramp improvements, milling, asphalt resurfacing and restoration.
This project will also feature lane closures, and is planned for completion on July 2nd.
