RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that their Deputies were called for a rescue operation after a small cannon explosion.
The incident happened Tuesday in Richland Township just after 2 p.m. in the 9800 block of North 28th Street. Police say two subjects were injured when a small cannon exploded. The two subjects had been trying to set the cannon off.
The resulting explosion caused serious injuries to an adult male and a teenage male. Both were transferred to the hospital.
