GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Founders Brewing Companies is laying off employees because of the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
The company has notified the state Department of Labor that more than 160 workers at their taprooms in Grand Rapids and Detroit will be laid off May 3, 2020.
Up until now, Founders says employees have been receiving their full pay and benefits since both locations closed last month. They say they hope that everyone will be back at work within six months.
