LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer will be updating Michigan residents three times this week on the state’s response to COVID-19.
Whitmer plans briefings for today, Wednesday, and Friday to talk about the plans to slowly reopen the state’s economy.
She said on NBC’s Meet the Press yesterday that a lack of testing supplies is the main issue holding her back on starting those efforts right now.
The governor will be joined by Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Chief Medical Executive Dr. Joneigh Khaldun during the 3:00 p.m. news conference.
