THREE RIVERS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A teen girl is in critical condition after she was shot in the head in Three Rivers.
It occurred around 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Thomas Street off of King Street.
Three Rivers Police say the suspect fled the scene but they were later found in a third-floor apartment at the Walnut Meadow Apartments on Erie Street.
The 20-year-old was arrested and taken to the St. Joseph County Jail on a charge of assault with intent to commit murder.
The 17-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital and last listed in critical condition.
No other details have been released at this time.
