PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Three suspects are at large after they attempted to break into a grocery store near Battle Creek.
Calhoun County Sheriff deputies responded to an alarm at Sam’s N Supermarket in the 800 block of North Avenue near Coolidge Avenue in Pennfield Township around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
When they arrived they found broken glass from the front door and determined an attempted break-in must’ve occurred.
Authorities reviewed the store’s surveillance footage and saw three masked individuals running away from the scene.
Battle Creek Police assisted in the search and a K-9 track was launched, but the suspects were not located. No other details on the burglars have been released at this time.
