PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A 3-year-old boy is injured after he was run over by a car near Battle Creek.
It occurred around 8 p.m. Monday in the 11,000 block of Bellevue Road between 11 Mile Road and Calender Road in Pennfield Township.
Calhoun County Sheriff deputies say the driver told them he did not see the young boy behind his vehicle when he was backing up.
The child was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries and then taken to Bronson Methodist where his current condition has not been released.
