BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — UPDATE: Police in Battle Creek are now seeking a man for questioning in relation to a shooting Sunday.
Previously, police were called to the 100 block of West Rittenhouse Avenue between South Washington Avenue and Caroline Street around 6 a.m. Sunday where they located a man with a single gunshot wound. The 34-year-old victim was taken to Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek where he was treated and later released.
Officers identified three suspects involved in the shooting and apprehended one man in the first block of Academy Street shortly after the incident.
Police are now seeking one man for questioning regarding this incident. He has been identified as Frederic “Freddie” Dimas, a 28-year-old male believed to still be in the Battle Creek area.
