KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Fire Marshal’s office is investigating a house fire in Kalamazoo’s South Westnedge Neighborhood.
On Sunday Public Safety officers were called to the 700 block of Parker Avenue off of South Westnedge Avenue where they found flames coming from the front porch of the home.
The occupants had already evacuated and firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze located in the enclosed porch.
The damage was contained to that area but the cause of the fire is still unknown. No other details have been released at this time.
