KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A teen was arrested after police responded to multiple break-ins of cars and homes on a neighborhood street.
Officers were called around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 3rd to investigate a string of vehicles broken into on Seminole Street near Grand Prairie Road in Kalamazoo Township.
The Kalamazoo Township Police Department says that the 16-year-old teen was found in a garage with the help of a nearby witness. The suspect is believed to have broken into multiple vehicles and garages throughout the early morning period.
Officers took the teen into custody and then transported him to the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home where he is currently lodged.
He faces multiple charges of home invasion and breaking and entering as his case gets referred to the prosecutor’s office.
