WARREN, MI (WTVB) – Warren-based Art Van Furniture is eyeing either Chapter 11 bankruptcy or a sale.
The retailer was purchased by a private equity firm in 2017, and Crain’s Detroit Business reports the firm is looking for potential buyers.
A spokeswoman for Art Van tells the Detroit Free Press that while they’re in negotiations regarding the future of the retailer, all stores are open and it is “business as usual.”
