(KALAMAZOO) (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Safety officers continue their search for a suspect wanted in connection with an early Sunday morning shooting on the city’s Northside.
Authorities were summoned to the 1200 block of Alamo Avenue near Douglas Avenue at around 2:15 a.m. Sunday on a report that someone had been shot.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a resident with a non life-threatening wound. The resident awoke to find an intruder inside their home and then was shot by the suspect before they fled the scene.
So far there is no shooter description at this time.
