KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A pedestrian is injured and a driver is at large after a hit-and-run in Comstock Township.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday in the 5000 block of Gull Road near Rockingham Avenue.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies say an unknown vehicle was traveling on Gull Road when they struck the pedestrian walking in the roadway. The driver did not stop and fled the scene.
The victim, a 42-year-old Vicksburg resident, was taken to Borgess Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No details regarding the suspect’s vehicle are known at this time. The victim’s name was not released.
