KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A stabbing suspect is now in custody after two victims were found in Kalamazoo’s Edison Neighborhood.
Around 6 p.m. Wednesday Public Safety officers located the first victim in the 1400 block of James Street near East Stockbridge Avenue and the other a little farther north in the 1300 block of James.
Both victims, who were transported to local hospitals and are expected to be okay, provided little information about the suspect and said they only knew them by a nickname.
Several hours later officers were dispatched back to the 1300 block of James Street after the suspect returned to the scene.
The 42-year-old Kalamazoo resident was arrested for assault with intent to murder. No other details have been released at this time.
