KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police are investigating an early morning robbery that took place near the Western Michigan University Campus Saturday.
WMU Department of Public Safety personnel confirm the incident happened in the 1300 block of Knollwood Avenue.
As a safety precaution, the department sent out a tweet advising that Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety police were responding to a robbery in that location, and that people in the area should take caution.
“WMU Public Safety@WMUPublicSafety-WMU Advisory: KDPS is responding to the 1300 block of Knollwood on a report of a robbery. Exercise caution if you are in the area.”
The incident is currently under investigation.
