KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two boil water advisories are now in place after a water main break in Kalamazoo’s South Westnedge Neighborhood and another near Parchment.
The first occurred Thursday morning on Evelyn Avenue. This affects homeowners on:
- Evelyn Avenue – From South Westnedge Avenue (western boundary) to South Rose (eastern boundary), both sides of the street. Includes the southeast corner of Evelyn Avenue and South Rose Street. It does NOT include the northwest corner of Evelyn Avenue and South Park Street.
- South Park Street – Only the northeast corner of South Park Street and Evelyn Avenue.
- South Westnedge Avenue – Only the northeast and southeast corners of South Westnedge Avenue and Evelyn Avenue.
The other boil water advisory is for some Parchment residents due to a water main break on Clarnin Street. This affects homeowners on:
- Clarnin Street – From Parchmount Avenue (northern boundary) to Glendale Boulevard (southern boundary), both sides of the street. Does NOT includes the southwest corner of Clarnin Street and Parchmount Avenue. It also does NOT include the northeast corner of Clarnin Street and Glendale Boulevard.
- Parchmount Avenue – From Clarnin Street (western boundary) to Mount Olivet Road (eastern boundary), both sides of the street. Does NOT includes the southwest corner of Parchmount Avenue and Clarnin Street. It also does NOT include the southwest corner of Parchmount Avenue and Mount Olivet Road.
- Glendale Boulevard – Only the northwest corner of Glendale Boulevard and Clarnin Street.
Both advisories are expected to be lifted by Sunday.
