KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Township of Kalamazoo Police Department has announced the arrest of a homicide suspect as of Monday night.
The department says that they had been contacted by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Dowagiac in regards to the suspect, who was hiding at a home in the 1700 block of Henson.
Officers from Kalamazoo Township were joined by the Kalamazoo Metro SWAT to conduct a search warrant at the home, and the suspect was taken into custody. He was then turned over to detectives from Cass County.
The suspect is described as a 41-year-old man from Cass County. The name of the suspect has not been released at this time.
