KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Officers responded to the 1300 Block of Fox Ridge Drive regarding a group of individuals causing a disturbance inside an apartment building.
Once on scene, officers heard 4 to 5 shots fired and located a crowd in the hallway. Witnesses directed police an apartment where they located a 25-year-old female Kalamazoo resident with a minor graze wound to her abdomen area.
The Kalamazoo Metro SWAT team responded after learning the suspect had gone into an adjacent apartment. A search was conducted but the suspect was not located, but rather three firearms along with methamphetamine.
A 21-year-old male and 24-year-old male both Kalamazoo residents were arrested from the apartment on outstanding warrants.
