SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN (WKZO AM/FM) — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for several counties in west and southwest Michigan.
The advisory is in effect from 4 A.M. Monday, December 30th through the next day, Tuesday at 7 P.M.
The agency say they are anticipating a total snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. The advisory also warns of wind gusts reaching as high as 55 mph Monday morning and then up to 40 mph Monday afternoon into Tuesday.
NWS says the advisory covers the counties of Allegan, Barry, Calhoun, Eaton, Kalamazoo, Kent, Ionia, Ottawa, and Van Buren Counties in the southwest Michigan region.
