KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo city officials have been looking at a future view of the city, and to help them with this vision, have asked residents what they thought it should look like.
Called Imagine Kalamazoo 2025, the plan is all about engaging local business owners, developers, and citizens to help shape the city’s future. Several projects are set to be implemented in 2020, including:
- redeveloping the local farmers market
- adding a splash pad to the Northside neighborhood
- improving Kik pool
- several road projects around the city
