HASTINGS, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The search has ended for a missing elderly couple from Barry County … about 100 miles from home
According to Sheriff Dar Leaf’s office, James and Dora Boulter were last seen on Christmas Eve around 10:30 PM in Plainwell, as they were on their way to their Orangeville Township home from a visit to a friend’s residence. Family members contacted authorities earlier that evening because the couple had not returned home. The office released photos of the Boulters and the vehicle that they were driving.
Shortly after 12 Noon on Thursday, the Sheriff’s Department told of a happy ending to this tale. “James and Dora Boulter were located this afternoon in Oceana County by a local resident. Preliminary reports indicate both are uninjured. Thank you to each of you who assisted our agency by getting the information out!”
