KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Benton Harbor teen is in custody after reportedly shooting at a vehicle on Christmas Eve in Kalamazoo.
It happened just after 3 a.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of East Cork Street.
Public Safety officers responded to a resident who said their vehicle was shot at and gave a detailed description of the suspect.
A Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputy spotted the suspected vehicle on East Cork Street and conducted a traffic stop.
They arrested an 18-year-old Benton Harbor resident on multiple felony charges.
Officers later found the ditched firearm in the path of the vehicle.
The victim was not injured and authorities are still investigating the incident.
