FARMINGTON HILLS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Michigan’s School Aid Fund is receiving another 1-million dollars.
Nobody came forward with a winning Powerball ticket that was bought a year ago and expired on December 19th 2019, so that means the money now goes to the schools.
It was purchased at the Marathon gas station on Orchard Lake Road in Farmington Hills.
This is the 4th 1-million dollar prize to go unclaimed in the state in 2019.
The record for an unclaimed Lottery prize in Michigan was set in 1998 when nobody came forward with the winning ticket for a 34-million dollar prize.
