KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Baseball season might not be in full swing, but an area team is celebrating the holidays with a free even tonight at Styker Field.
The Kalamazoo Growlers are hosting their “Ballpark Holiday Fest” on Thursday, December 19th. The event features holiday lights, an airing of the classic movie “Home Alone” on the video board, and a special appearance from Santa Porter.
Team officials say the event is free and open to the public. Festivities kick off at Homer Stryker Field at 6 P.M. and will continue through 9 P.M.
The team is also saying that members of the Growler’s 365-Game Plan who attend will get additional perks, including snacks like hot chocolate and popcorn.
