CASS COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has announced that it will be hosting a snowmobile safety class this weekend.
On Saturday, December 7th, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office will host the class at the Edwardsburg Snowmobile Club in Edwardsburg.
Michigan state law says that anyone between the ages of 12 and 17 must possess a valid snowmobile safety certificate to travel on State designated trails or any area other than private property.
Snowmobile enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to attend. Those interested in attending must pre-register by calling 269-445-1240.
The class will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and will feature a light lunch provided by the Edwardsburg Snowmobile club.
There is no fee for this class.
