MIDDLEVILLE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A man accused of robbing a bank in Middleville is now in custody.
Barry County Sheriff deputies say the suspect who robbed the Chemical Bank on November 26th was caught on Wednesday, thanks to tips from citizens.
The man’s name has not been released at this time.

MIDDLEVILLE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Barry County Sheriff’s Department is reporting a bank robbery that took place Tuesday.
It occurred around 1 p.m. at the Chemical Bank on Arlington street.
Police say that a black male suspect entered the bank and demanded money. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene in a gray sedan.
The suspect was wearing black pants, a black coat with the hood pulled up and sunglasses. The suspect was last seen in the area of Arlington St. and Thornton St., leaving westbound on Thornton Street.
Due to the robbery, all local Thornapple Kellogg Schools were shut down for about an hour. Classes resumed as normal by 2 p.m.
