COMSTOCK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department has announced a search for a domestic violence suspect.
Monday afternoon, deputies were called to the Comstock Village Apartments in response to a call about an alleged domestic violence incident.
The call alleged that the incident involved strangulation and threats with a knife.
Due to the nature of the incident, the Sheriff’s Department called the Kalamazoo Metro SWAT Team to assist with arresting the suspect.
A search warrant was obtained for the apartment and entry was made, but the suspect was not immediately located.
The incident remains under investigation at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office or Silent Observer.
