COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two teens are now in the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home after breaking into a store in Comstock Township.
Deputies responded to an intrusion alarm at the Menards on Gull Road near Sprinkle Road around 2 a.m. Thursday where they saw one suspect in the parking lot and another fleeing on a bicycle.
They arrested one of the 16-year-old boys and later caught the biker on East H Avenue.
After further investigating, authorities say the pair forced their way into the store and stole some merchandise and they are the same suspects responsible for earlier burglaries at the same Menards.
The two are awaiting charges.
