KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A biker was hit by a vehicle near Kalamazoo’s Stuart neighborhood over the weekend.
It happened around 10 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of West Douglas Avenue between Kalamazoo Avenue and West Main Street.
A heavy police presence blocked off a portion of the road as first responders loaded the biker into the ambulance. A bike with a damaged front tire could be seen on the side of the road.
The condition of the biker has not been released. It appears that the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
The scene was cleared about 30 minutes later. More details will be released as they come.
