ARLINGTON TOWNSHIP, MI — (WKZO AM/FM) — One person died after being crushed by a Bobcat bucket in Van Buren County on Tuesday morning.
It happened in Arlington Township around 10 a.m. on 28th Street between 50th and 52nd streets in Arlington Township.
Van Buren County Sherrifs Deputies said the worker was trying to clear snow from a marijuana growing facility when the equipment used for moving material and plowing fell on them, causing critical injuries.
Other employees at the location then shortly discovered the injured worker and called 911. CPR was administered but was unsuccessful in reviving the victim.
Police say the name and age of the victim is not being released until their family is notified. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
