KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — In honor of Veterans Day, Bell’s Brewery has unveiled a new beer designed by employees who have served in the military.
According to an official Facebook post, the new beer, called “Goin’ Dark,” is a Coffee Milk Stout that was created by staff who served in the military, are currently enlisted or are military family.
Following the unveiling, Bell’s staff announced that the brewery has been certified as veteran-friendly by the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
Those interested in trying the beer should know that it will only be available at the Bell’s location downtown, as well as the Bell’s General Store.
The news of Bell’s certification comes as Governor Whitmer is congratualting several institutions on achieving Veteran-Friendly status.
