ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a suspect arrested in a vehicle theft case has been issued several charges, some of which were outstanding.
Last Thursday, police responded to a call regarding a stolen truck near the area of Banker Street and Shimmel Road.
Upon arriving, the vehicle had left the area, but a subsequent search located the truck. After stopping the vehicle, the suspect was identified as John Fox Jr.
Fox was arrested on several felony charges, including an outstanding warrant for being in Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
Fox was arraigned on 11/08/2019 for charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Forgery/Counterfeiting, Driving Suspended, and Improper Plate.
He is currently being held on a $25,000 bond at the jail.
