Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies went to a home in the 600 block of Pickard Street off of East Michigan Avenue around 8 p.m. Wednesday in an attempt to arrest a suspect on an outstanding felony warrant.
When they arrived the resident attempted to flee out the back door but they were quickly apprehended by the sheriff office’s K-9 team.
A search warrant was then executed where deputies found suspected meth, drug packaging material and scales.
A second subject was also arrested on an unrelated outstanding warrant and they were both taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
