COLDWATER, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A suspect has been charged in the death of a man from Coldwater.
In June 2018, 36-year-old Grant Gregory Morrison died at his home in the 400 block of Morning Glory Lane where a fight took place, which ended with Morrison being choked to death.
Chad Edward Danbury, 42, is now facing charges of second-degree murder, among others. Officials say Danbury turned himself in Sunday. His arraignment is now scheduled for Nov. 8.
Officials also say that both men were heavily intoxicated by alcohol at the time the fight took place.
