KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects connected to break-ins across three different counties.
Police say that on October 18th, two male suspects broke into the Hunan Gardens Restaurant and the nearby Queen Nail Salon in Texas Township.
Large amounts of alcohol were stolen from Hunan Gardens, while money was stolen from the Queen Nail Salon.
Police say that the two suspects responsible have been linked to a series of nail salon break-ins across Berrien County, Van Buren County (Paw Paw) and the City of Kalamazoo.
- Suspect #1 – Described as a black male approximately 5’07 to 5’09 with a slender build dressed in a light colored sweat shirt (hoodie) and blue jeans.
- Suspect #2 – Described as a black male approximately 5’09 to 5’10 with a heavy build dressed in a black sweatshirt (hoodie), a light colored hat and jeans.
Police say that the suspects escaped in an SUV which is believed to be silver in color.
