BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – A Kalamazoo man has been arrested after Battle Creek Police say a 31-year-old Galesburg woman was pushed from a moving car Saturday night.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports the woman was taken to Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo by a family member where she was treated for scrapes to her face and arms.
The woman said the 28-year-old man assaulted her after she refused an offer from him to go for a walk near the Fort Custer Recreational Area while they were driving from her workplace to her father’s home.
She estimated the car car was traveling at between 40 and 45 miles an hour when she was thrown out.
