KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) – A man has been taken into custody after a standoff at the Apple Ridge Apts in Kalamazoo Saturday.
Authorities had come to the apartments to serve a warrant on the man, who then barricaded himself inside the apt. Officers from several law enforcement agencies were involved in the incident…they evacuated residents from the building the man was in and told those in nearby buildings to remain inside.
At around 7:30 pm, the man was arrested. No injuries were reported in the arrest, and it’s not known what the warrant was for.
