COVERT TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police in Van Buren County are searching for two men who may have been involved in a suspected overdose last weekend.
36-year-old Jayson Piper from Illinois was brought to an emergency room in South Haven on Saturday and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Covert Township officers believe he may have been at a BBQ party in that area when he overdosed and two men brought him into the ER.
Details on his death have not been released because autopsy results are still pending.
