UNDATED, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Taco Bell fans may be saying, “Where’s the beef?” next time they go to order.
The fast food restaurant is removing ground beef at some of their Michigan locations over concerns that it does not meet quality standards.
Taco Bell announced over the weekend that some restaurants will not be serving their seasoned beef but details on what specific locations or what was wrong with the meat were not released.
Beef was also removed at locations in Kentucky and Ohio.
Although this is one of the main ingredients on Taco Bell’s menu, chicken, steak and their vegetarian options are still available.
No word on how long the meat removal will last.
