KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An Ann Arbor man is severely injured after he was struck by a vehicle in downtown Kalamazoo.
Public Safety officers were called to the intersection of West Michigan Avenue and North Church Street around 3:15 p.m. Friday where they found the 32-year-old victim and the driver of the vehicle on scene.
Witnesses say the man was walking south across West Michigan Avenue in the crosswalk when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
The pedestrian was rushed to Bronson Hospital where he was last listed in critical but stable condition.
West Michigan Avenue was closed for about 2-hours while investigators looked into the crash.
