OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies are searching for a suspect after shots were fired outside an Oshtemo apartment complex.
It happened just after 10 p.m. Monday after reports of a disturbance in the parking lot of the Pepper Tree Apartments on South 11th Street turned into multiple shots being fired.
When deputies arrived they located a vehicle matching the one described as leaving the scene but the suspect fled on foot during the traffic stop.
A K-9 track was launched but the suspect was not located and no other description was released.
Nobody was injured during the shooting but two apartments were struck in the gunfire.
