KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are searching for 2 suspects after an armed home invasion not far from Western Michigan University’s campus.
They say 2 men forced themselves into a residence in the 1500 block of Lafayette Avenue just before midnight Sunday night, held the victim at gunpoint, stole several items, and then took off in a light green SUV.
The suspects were described as two skinny black men in their late 20’s or early 30’s, wearing blue jeans and grey hoodies, and one covered his face with a blue bandana.
Several items, mostly electronics, were stolen. Officers searched the surrounding area but the suspects have not yet been located.
