BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Battle Creek has announced a new premium taxi service following the recent closure of City Cab, which was previously the only taxi company in Battle Creek.
The new service is called “BCGo” and was officially launched by Battle Creek Transit on September 29th. According to an official press release, the service will extend outside of the traditional hours and service area of Transit bus routes.
Current hours for BCGo are listed as 6 p.m. to midnight on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. At this time, it is not operating on weekdays. The press release notes that staff will monitor the new service to determine if it can remain a permanent city service.
